PROJECT SCOPE
From the word go, Kreda was clear on what she wanted for her website.
She wanted a clean, dynamic website that would attract and serve her target audience of female entrepreneurs aged between 35 – 45.
Kreda is high-end and she loves nice things. She’s into Oprah Winfrey, Lisa Nichols, Tony Robbins, and Grant Cardone. She may have DIY’ed her brand to start, but by the time she came to us for a new website, her business had grown and she was now she’s ready for an upgrade.
- Solution
The design aspect of this website was not very challenging.
As the branding expert that she is, Kreda supplied us with her own colors, font choices, images, and an overall style guide.
We commend Kreda on her choice of color combination – the navy blue she chose works really well for her type of authoritative brand. Navy blue always evokes feelings of power and authority rather than the ideas of relaxation and peace that go along with more standard shades of blue. Darker shades of blue tend to lean more toward ideas of authority and importance.
However, the tech side was the most challenging aspect of this website. Kreda wanted several dynamic pages created including a dedicated Brand Archetypes archive page with at least 12 individual pages for each brand archetype. Different as they would be, she also wanted each one of those single archetype pages to follow a particular structure. To do this successfully, we created custom functions like get_field() and the_field() to quickly build one powerful template that would dynamically pull content from the many different brand archetypes that she has. This single template made it super-easy for her to be able to control the design and feel of each one of the single archetypes from just one page, and it also saved us a ton of work!
Kreda will also be able to log into her website as needed and simply paste these custom fields in her posts, users, taxonomy terms, media, comments, and even custom options pages as needed!
