PROJECT SCOPE
The client specified this, “First, I want my site to be eyecatching from the start. I want the navigation to be very easy and simple, with simple, short options and simple calls to action (Class Schedule, Book an event, Reserve a spot, Make a payment, etc). I want things to be very easy to find. I don’t want people to search too hard or get frustrated and leave.”
- Solution
We wanted it to be instantly clear to visitors that this is a fitness website.
The client brought her own logo, so we created the layout and the design elements around the logo`s bright red color.
Thanks to its long wavelength, red is one of the most visible colors in the color spectrum (second only to yellow). Its ability to instantly grab people’s attention is the reason why we chose to maintain it throughout the site. The visuals used were designed to highlight the fitness classes so that the visitor understands immediately what the brand offers.
